Abstract
In the fault diagnosis of motor, the early detection of incipient faults of components plays an important role. To support the detection of incipient and unknown faults, an immunology based Fault diagnosis prototype system was proposed. The immune system for fault diagnosis is comprised of innate immune layer and adaptive immune layer. In the system, innate immune layer directs recognition of known fault; Adaptive immune layer learns the incipient and unknown fault pattern. The simulation shows that a satisfying result can be acquired by using the layer computation model.
