Abstract :
The special feature of fuzzy control is that the improvement of transient characteristic in control performance and the control with excellent robustness can be easily realized. On the other hand, in PID control, the stability is guaranteed theoretically and high-accuracy control can be possible specially in steady-state characteristic. In this paper for the purpose of trying the hybridization of both merits in fuzzy and PID controls, the “hybrid control method” which hybridizes both control methods is proposed. The proposed method combines fuzzy and PID controls in parallel and changeably uses fuzzy control in transient characteristic region and PID control in steady-state characteristic region. Moreover, the smooth control during switching is guaranteed by executing the both change fuzzily. Also the “simplified indirect inference method” capable of high-speed inference is used for the fuzzy control method
