  • Abstract
    As the revolution of electric power industry and software engineering technology, various heterogeneous system of dispatching automation has constantly emerged. IEC61970 standards provide integration methods foe all kinds of high efficient system. On the base of thorough research on standards, we put forward the idea of using IEC61970 to upgrade the legacy SCADA system. Besides this, we introduced the method of encapsulating Chongqing New Century Electrical Company´s legacy SCADA system. This method tries the research and practice of the standard under the premise of legacy investment protection.
