Abstract
We write this paper to present a time measurement system which is of low power consumption, high integration, high resolution, and high reliability, and the electronics can be engaged in space physics experiments. 8 channels FPGA-based TDCs (Time-to-Digital converter) are implemented in an ACTEL FPGA, and each channel can obtain a time resolution of about 150ps RMS or 440ps bin size. The electronics is designed in order to find a better way to do time measurement for future space missions.
