Abstract
An identification study for the highly nonlinear drum-boiler process is presented. The model structure is based on the fuzzy dynamical model which is a fuzzy aggregation of a set of local linear models. The local linear models are determined for the plant operating regions and the fuzzy membership functions are assigned heuristically and qualitatively based on the system behavior. The performance of the identified fuzzy model of the drum-boiler process is evaluated under various load conditions
