Abstract :
A new method of designing dyadic wavelet filters with higher vanishing moments is proposed by using dyadic lifting scheme which has been developed recently by us. Based on the method new spline dyadic wavelet filters have been constructed and applied to the enhancement of medical images. Results of experiments show that efficient of images which are enhanced by new spline dyadic wavelet filters are better.
