Abstract :
In this paper, a high speed high resolution digital platform is presented, which is developed for the 4πβ-γ coincidence counting system. The main goal of the design is to digitalize and store signals from various multiple detector systems for later offline analysis, which could greatly simplify the 4πβ-γ coincidence counting measurement routine and improve the result accuracy. In the implementation, we focused on high speed and high resolution data acquisition and transfer, as well as synchronization between different channels. As a result, this digital platform is capable of handling 8 channels (four 500MSPS 8bit resolution channels and four 16bit resolution 62.5MSPS channels) with ±1ns synchronization accuracy.
