Abstract :
An analytic and self consistent solution for quasi-neutral plasma transport suggests that n0/n ~ r/r0 plot is a straight line having unit slope. The model is tested with experimental findings. In our experiment a plasma gun similar to the geometry of washer plasma gun has been designed which projects high speed dense plasma blobs. Interestingly, the experimental result shows that both (ne)0/ne ~ r/ro plot and (ni)0/ni ~ r/ro plots are straight lines.
