Abstract
This paper presents several types of solar energy incentives for industrial energy consumers. First, past industrial solar energy costs are reviewed. The discussion then continues with a development of solar incentives. The incentives are formulated using Stackelberg game theory, with the government as a leader offering incentives to the consumer (followers). Finally, the paper concludes with a description of current solar energy incentive programs, including both the current government subsidies and the methods used by industry privately to fund solar energy systems.
