Abstract
The following solution enables the mobile acquisition of sales and return operations on sales stalls and shop-in-shop systems. It takes advantage of the use of mobile devices and wireless communication for data transmission, so there is no need to install large and complex systems in the sales rooms. Thereby all information about sales and returns are available nearly in real-time to the central office and company management. Through the abolition of maybe used manual solutions, the user gets the benefit of greater potential savings and an enhancement of productivity in invoicing. To build this solution, the components of the BlackBerry platform from the Canadian manufacturer Research In Motion were chosen, which provide an independence of location as well as a very high level of security during the radio transmission. So the whole communication between device and infrastructure is handled encrypted.
