Abstract
The paper discusses some symbolic procedures for improving the fault diagnosis of linear analog circuits. The procedures are based on an IME method and concerns the fault dictionary approach and the parameter identification approach. Examples are presented by using simple networks to show in detail the feasibility of the procedures
