Abstract
A pair of experimental two cylinder 2-stroke diesel engines utilising the uniflow method of scavenging, have been designed and built using component parts from a donor four cylinder 4-stroke automotive engine. The experimental and predicted performance of these engines is discussed and compared with their 4-stroke production counterpart
