Abstract :
Implementation of IT projects, especially for large IT systems, is synonymous with management of change in an organisation. However, changing core values and behaviours of an organisation is a slow, difficult and tricky process. A planned human resource development program is required for preparing employees for technology change. This paper examines contemporary literature in technology management to identify factors crucial to the management of organisational change. Effective managers in the modern industrialised world are leading change in the current globally competitive environment
