Abstract
The paper presents the optimization method for the cable net deployable antenna design. Optimal mathematical model is built with minimum vertical cables number and surface accuracy as objectives, number of vertical cables and cable tensions as design variables, and stresses and fundamental frequency as constraints. A genetic algorithm is taken for solving. The optimal results show the validity and effectiveness of the proposed method and model.
