Abstract
A triangular business model can be applied to the software industry. The vertices of the triangle are the customer, resources and profits. Companies that harness their resources and satisfy their customer´s needs enhance their profitability. Many software organizations already have an advanced software development process (SDP), but further efficiency gains can enhance the opportunity for business success. This paper identifies some strategies for improving the management of resources as a continued improvement process
