Abstract :
The most direct and reliable method of studying the exploitation of mountainous areas which influenced under mining is to obtain field data through establishing mountainous surface movement observation station. In order to research the feasibility of RTK applied for mountainous surface movement observation station, The basic principle of RTK measurement was introduced, the feasibility of RTK applied for mountainous surface movement observation station was explored combed with the advantages of RTK and the monitoring requirement for mountainous surface movement observation station. And for a coal mine an example, it was proved that RTK technology used for mountainous surface movement observation station was entirely feasible through establishing mountainous surface movement observation station and juxtaposing the results of RTK and static GPS.
