Abstract :
In this paper, a high cost-effective and flexible configuration FH/DS hybrid spread spectrum signal generator based on SOPC (System On a Programmable Chip) is realized, and a FH code which has good frequency hopping pattern is designed. A component which can execute FH/DS hybrid spread spectrum modulation is designed by the technology of custom component in Nios II. This component has three modes of operation: DS, FH and FH/DS. By using the SOPC technology, it can generate various spread spectrum signals after adding the custom component to Nios II system and calling related driver software to the top level.
