Abstract
The Microwave Landing System (MLS) is recognized as a new generation precision approach and landing guidance system by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The modeling and simulation of MLS can shorten the test time and reduce the expenditure greatly. Based on the deep analysis of principle and error sources of MLS, the critical model of MLS simulation is presented in this paper. The architecture base on HLA, implementation approach of critical component of MLS simulation system is discussed in detail.
