Abstract :
The authors propose an adaptive RAKE receiver, which does not need to send the sounding signals and can track the phase fluctuation caused by fading. Consequently coherent demodulation is able to be applied and this system shows good performance without sounding signals. Its usefulness is confirmed by computer simulations
