  • Abstract
    In this article is carried out a brief description about DTTV, the state of art and the standard adopted by Colombia, by a propagation analysis of a DTTV transmitter under DVB-T standard in Bogotá D.C metropolitan environment. The parameters used in this analysis are the same as the used in the test transmitter installed at Calatrava Hill (Suba, Bogotá D.C.) by RTVC (Radio Televisión Nacional de Colombia). ATDI´s ICS Telecom was employed for simulation purposes using REC. ITU-R P.525 and Okumura-Hata propagation models. Furthermore, confirmation measurements were made using the DTTV monitoring equipment GOLDENEAGLE and TESMonitor SEVIT (Sistema Integrado de Monitoreo Transportable).
