Abstract
It is known that in normal operating conditions the inflow velocity in waterjet pumps is far from uniform. In this paper some methods will be presented to represent the nonuniform pump inflow velocity distribution. With such representation it is possible to derive an estimation of the flow rate fluctuations through an impeller channel and the variations of the inflow angle at the leading edge of the blade.
