Abstract :
As a part of planning, the place and role of urban design is now paid more and more attention to, and will permeate to much wider field. Residence, as the main one of the four functions of the city, is now concerned more. Presently there are many problems in the construction of residential environmental space in china. The applying of urban design will make the planning of residence more reasonable, make it be merged with the city as an integral whole and create more suitable environment for people.
