  • Abstract
This paper analyzed the dynamic evolving distribution of transportation infrastructure of 31 provinces in China by the kernel density function method and markov chain method. The results showed that: the distribution of transportation infrastructure gradually changed from "twin peaks" shape into "only peak" shape, and the polarization gradually disappeared, but the difference of transportation infrastructure level in each region was still great. From the markov chain, the long-term stability distribution of transportation infrastructure in each province still dispersed in five types of space, and a great many of provinces were in the middle class, but the density differences of transportation infrastructure in each province will gradually narrow.
