Abstract
A new formulation based on the spectral domain approach is used to calculate the propagation constant and the field distribution over the slot of a slotted coaxial cable structure. The propagation constant and strip current density of a strip line on dielectric covered metallic cylinder which is the complementary geometry of the slotted coaxial cable, are formulated simultaneously using the same approach. Numerical results are obtained and compared with published data
