Abstract
To study the impact of target signal amplitude fluctuation on the accuracy of background signal extraction, a radar signal model based on eccentric cylinder is established. A method of least median squares-hyperaccurate (LMS-Hyper) to extract the background signal is implemented. The accuracy and robustness of the algorithm are shown by simulation, and the impacts of target signal fluctuation, eccentric distance, and outliers on the extraction accuracy are analyzed.
