  • Abstract
    Integration of photovoltaic power in acoustic noise barriers is the subject of a project, developed at ANAS (Italian Road Administration Agency), in the framework of a collaboration with University of Rome "La Sapienza". Carrying out the photovoltaic-acoustic barriers is not a goal by itself, but it is framed in a structured program, where several actions will be undertaken, intended to create the conditions for extended use of integrated acoustic-photovoltaic components and to promote their widespread diffusion. The aim of this project is the design of high-tech structures, based on the principle of optimized integration and following the axiom of "total quality".
