Abstract :
The extrapolation method for the error test of the current transformer is to tests the current transformer on-site as a voltage transformer with the same error, which firstly test the error, admittance and other parameters of the trans-former at 200%to 1000%rated voltage or current, then test the admittance at 1%to 120%rated voltage or current, and finally achieves the error through the calculation. Its application will bring a great influence on the test of the current transformer on-site.
