Fangzi district in Weifang industrial value research and protection

With China´s economic development, industrial restructuring and the impact of the market economy, many old industries were forced to close, which was led to a lot of old industrial buildings to be idle or abandoned, including the buildings with many value. The determination and protection research on the value of these industrial heritage promote the development of industrial heritage. Many changes have taken place in Fangzi District during the German Occupation periods and because of its historical and cultural values the left industrial heritage was drew large attention. This paper aims to give several recommendations about its protection after field research.
