Resizing of images in the DCT space by arbitrary factors
Abstract :
In this work we describe algorithms for the resizing by arbitrary factors of images represented in the block DCT space. The algorithms are designed by exploiting spatial relationship of the block DCT coefficients and subband correlation of the DCT coefficients. An interesting application of these methods shown is the conversion in the compressed domain of images (video frames) from one format to another.
