Abstract :
In this paper, the concept of ultrasonic wave liquid level sensing is introduced and the in-device ultrasonic penetrative attenuation based measurement of fixed-point liquid level is analyzed. Then the detection of weak signals based on chaotic oscillator is proposed. This approach improves the system´s stability against noise disturbance because the chaotic system is sensitive to weak signals and is immune to noise signals, therefore can accurately detect the weak signals which are absorbed in the relatively strong noise signals. This technique achieves high accuracy in experiments and can be used in oil rig measurement operations.
