Abstract
In the industrial production and everyday life, there are some problems which was hard to resolve in flow of pollution-control. If the traditional sealed enclosures or partial enclosures is used to control pollutants, the collection rate of it is very low, and it costs more energy consumption.Convergent Air Curtain(CAC) is a "invisible, transparent, enclosed heat shield" between the pollutants and operator. It can be used to control pollution sources outside because it is a sealed cover which can prevent contamination-spreading out, and cut off the heat passing out. By changing the angle of the initial installation of air curtain, the wind speed and thickness and other factors, access to the undisturbed area of convergent air curtain parameters and to establish a convergent air curtain jet experiments and theoretical models. Based on the results of experimental and theoretical analysis, the CAC is very useful for environmental protection, labor protection and health protection in production and everyday life.
