  • Abstract
    With the electric energy electronic devices and nonlinear equipment widely used, the voltage in the grid and current waveform distortion become more and more serious, which have caused the deterioration of electric energy quality. Therefore, this paper shows a method making use of wavelet technology to improve electric energy quality disturbance recognition, and discusses the design scheme of the electric energy quality monitor based on DSP and ARM. DSP is responsible for grid parameters collection and data calculation. ARM is responsible for network communication and data management. Besides, Linux, which is the embedded real-time operating system through mature transplantation, offers software platform for equipment. After the actual test, it is proved that system operation is stable and efficient. At the same time, it meets the requirements of monitoring electric energy.
