Abstract :
It is now well known that a large number of engineering design problems can be viewed as mathematical programming problems, where some cost has to be minimized subject to various types of constraints. In the last few years, semi-infinite programming in particular has occupied an increasingly important position. The typical semi-infinite programming problem can be written as follows: min{f(x)|gi(x) ?? 0, j=1,2 ..., m, (P) ??j(x, ??) ?? 0 ??????j, j=1,2, ..., l}
