Abstract
In history, ancient post-road, water transport, religion center and rich clan always can bring prosperity to local area. Taking Ruyayang as an example, this paper analyze its historical environment, historic building, streets, and other historic sites detailedly to get the core value of the historic village. Small-scale and centralized management are the traits of villages. Based on those characteristics, This paper expounds the meaning, aims, principles, and contents of the historical village´s planning. Faced with the loss of village vitality, the aging of population, ancient architecture desolation, negative villagers, local culture´s dying out and other difficulties. This article point out some strategies, solutions and suggestions to preservation and develop the historical villages.
