Abstract :
This paper is concerned with the stabilization of nonlinear control systems. First a theorem is proved that extends previous results concerning the global stabilization of certain nonlinear systems. Then stability improvement is considered and two classes of systems with this property are identified. Special emphasis is given to the bilinear case.
