Abstract :
The three ice-structure interaction models were established according to collision dynamics theory. The numerical simulations of the interaction between sea ice and the structure were implemented by using the explicit dynamic analysis software ANSYS/LS-DYNA, according to the bi-axial strength criterion of concrete established by indoor test in environment of seawater corrosion. The simulated propagation of cracks in ice sheet, ice forces and structure displacement responses were presented using ice sheet with a certain constant speed moving to the structure. The simulated results show that the different kinds of vibration are produced by the structure with different figures interaction with moving ice sheet. The column structure tends to have a steady vibration which is harmful to their safety severely. A vibration of large amplitude of column structure is produced by moving ice sheet at the lower speed. The values of ice force applying on rectangular structure, which are not sensitive to the variation in the ice velocity, are far greater than ones on triangle structure.
