Abstract
In order to measure the common taper of benchmark blades in helicopter, we put forward an optical common taper measurement based on CPLD. Using three groups of laser paths to lock a laser plane, the three pieces of primary standard rotor blade could cut the laser path, and we can calculate taper parameters of the primary standard rotor blade by measuring time-domain pulse signals and time-sequence algorithm programs. The results show that this method satisfies the measurement standard, and the uncertainty is less than 5 mm.
