Abstract :
This paper will deal with the lightning performance of a distribution network, using the new concept to calculate the ground flash density (GFD). It is called fuzzy ground flash density (FGFD), and it allow to take into account the factors that can affect the traditional way to calculate the GFD, such as the area chosen and the hard variation for two points geographically adjacent.
