Abstract
With the continuous expansion of RFID application field, more information carried by the tag is desired. Just because of that, the active RFID system with a power processor is elevated to a higher position and gradually become a research focus. For some especial applications, the length of the tag data frame is limitary, and the dependability can not be ensured using the conventional system. By introducing the simple multi-channel active RFID system and its disadvantages, a novel multi-channel active RFID system based on the multi-MCU reader framework is proposed. The hardware and software implementation are illustrated clearly, and the communication between MCU modules is realized. By modifying the reader structure and the communication strategy constitutionally, the readability of the system is elevated, and the data redundancy for the host can be also reduced evidently. It is indicated that the novel proposed system is effective and practical.
