Abstract :
Process dynamics of high temperature solar receivers exibits quite peculiar interactions with basic design parameters. This paper illustrates a number of design criteria based on process dynamics evaluation and, correspondingly, the concept of a process fit controller based on Predictive Temperature Feedbacks. Temperature control during cloud passing requires more complex control systems when the process dynamics is "bad designed", so that system optimization is conveniently performed as an integrated process and control design.
