  • Abstract
Restricted by topography and geology conditions, traffic accidents often happen in mountain roads, especially under bad weather. So, a method is needed to evaluate the traffic safety of mountain road under bad weather. Through analyzing the factors that affect mountain road traffic safety in bad weather, the paper established traffic safety evaluation index system. The evaluation index system includes two layers evaluation indexes. There are 4 indexes in first layer, and 14 indexes in second layer. Then fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model was established by using fuzzy theory. At last, in order to prove the correctness of this model, the mountain road environment was supposed, and the model was used to evaluate the traffic safety of mountain road. The results showed that the model is validity.
