Abstract :
Wireless Sensor networks are seen as one of the most promising emerging technologies, and location awareness is highly critical for wireless sensor networks for fulfilling its mission. Currently, the researches on localization generally focus on how to locate the position of the sensors, and at the same time, some researches on whether the network can be localizable are blooming, and some necessary and sufficient conditions also are derived. Now the question is how to efficiently deploy the sensors in the real world. Because we can not randomly deploy the sensors, what is the better strategy of deployment which can guarantee the localization of all nodes? This paper concentrates on the node deployment of wireless sensor network in real world. Firstly, we give a simple and efficient strategy to deploy the sensors in a large scale areas, after that, we prove that our strategy can guarantee the unique localization of the network Moreover, we illustrate our strategy can effectively hold high connectivity and good full coverage, which can not be reached if randomly deploying the sensors. The simulations indicate the effectiveness of our strategy on localization, connectivity, and coverage.
