Abstract :
This article analyzes the relationship of internationalization motivations, capabilities and performance of the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). We took 220 SMEs of Guangdong province as sample, using structural equation model to test theoretical hypotheses. The conclusions are as follows: Firstly, in the process of internationalization, the motivations have an significant positive effect on performance; Secondly, the internationalization capabilities also have an significant positive effect on performance; Thirdly, internationalization capabilities are the mediator of internationalization motivations and performance.
