  • Abstract
    This thesis analyzed the main limitations of the current Long Distance Open Web Educational System, introduced the Intelligent Agent Technology, This paper presents constructing an intelligent distance education platform under the network. This platform can provide a collaborate virtual teaching environment for teachers and students in different sites. The architectures and communicative mechanism in this platform are described in detail. In short, this system can ameliorate the effect of web-based teaching and learning, and realize the real Long Distance Open Web Education.
