  • Abstract
    Multi-core programming becomes a research hotspot in recent years, as traditional serial programs cannot give full play to the performance benefits of multi-core processor. In this paper, we proposed an optimized approach of JPEG decompression based on multi-core processor, which is an instance of producer-consumer model with implement of list structure. It was shown that the approach improved JPEG decompression performance in terms of decoding time.
