Abstract :
This paper proposes a new Audio-Video Synchronization Coding algorithm on the latest H.264/AVC video coding standard. The audio information is only embedded into the last non-zero and non-trailing coefficient during the CAVLC (Context Adaptive Variable Length Coding) process and can be extracted from the video stream at the receiver terminal without distortion. This method is efficient with low computational complexity. And the experimental results show that it can arrive synchronization effectively with little stream bit rate increase and quality degradation.
