Abstract :
This study reports on a new approach for preparations of magnetic polymer mircrospheres with a core-shell structure based on the emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization. Resulting microspheres can thus be further decorated with gold nanoparticles without using extra reducing agent. Synthesis and characterization of such composites were studied. Au-dot-decorated magnetic polymer microspheres were characterized by TEM, XRD, IR, SQUID, TGA, EDX.
