Abstract
The residual acetylene reacts with some of the Fe particles to change their catalyst activities during heating process, which results in the changing of the growth state of carbon nanotubes (CNTs). It is a simple method to control the length and the bulk density of grown CNTs by adjusting the concentration of a reaction gas in a carrier gas.
