Abstract :
In order to solve the disadvantages of poor signal quality, short transmission distance about analog camera and images, sounds, environmental parameters not being combined in the existing mine monitoring equipment, a kind of multifunctional network camera used in underground based on the ARM9 series micro-processing chip i.mx27 is designed in this paper. The system can achieve image acquisition under low-light environment through low-light CCD image sensor; it can complete voice acquisition and processing through MIC and audio codec; it can access environmental parameters by RS-485 interface or wireless communication module with Mini PCI-E interface; it can implement the remote transmission about the information of video, audio, environmental parameters through Ethernet in mine. The low-voltage (≤3.3V) design of the system power not only conform the intrinsic safety demand, but also realize the low power consumption (4.5W) of the device. The experiments show that the multifunctional network camera based on ARM9 is in conformity with the intrinsic safety demand and realizes the functions of video monitoring, audio monitoring, environmental parameters accessing and network remote transmission. Hence, it will play an important role on the monitoring of mine security production and have the higher application value.
