Abstract
Satellite synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data has already provided valuable unique information to a number of applications in South Africa. Airborne SAR data can provide additional information to assist in the interpretation of remote sensing data. This paper reports on the current developments and future initiatives in the field of airborne SAR remote sensing in South Africa
